CLOUD 9 APP
Cloud 9 is an app prototype that was created by Tani O, Lauren Noble, Kitty Huang and myself (Anjelica Maglinao) that we created for a course we took called GBDA 228. We created this app to bring positivity for any of our users. My main role in this project was to design the logo and create the functionality of the final prototype.

THE THOUGHT PROCESS & WIREFRAMES
We spent a day in a project room brainstorming our ideas. We sketched out what would want in the interface, how the notifications would appear and the functionality of the app through its distinct features. We thought of a main page where the message would appear daily and have a profile that was similar to Instagram to collect those posts. Then we used Balsamiq to create a clean wireframe to present to our classmates our idea.
THE LOGO
Originally, the name of our app was name A Message A Day (AMAD) but we felt that the name was too long. We kept on brainstorming ideas for simple names such as Feliz (meaning happy in Spanish). In the end, we came up Cloud9 as our app name. I created a variety of sketches of these app names and the most favourable design was Cloud in a shape of a nine but also looked like a speech bubble. I finalized the design in Illustrator and used a blue gradient backgroundto make the logo stand out more.

THE FINAL DESIGN
For the final design, our team contributed their designs in different features of the prototype using JustInMind. We had the following features:
-
A sign up page
-
A main page
-
Create a message
-
Edit the text, color and border feature
-
A profile page
Once that was complete, I was able to make this prototype function well as users we able to type and tap to one page to another. We presented this to the class and in the end, they loved our idea.
